Assisted Living
Long-term care communities for generally active older adults who don't need continual health care but do need regular help with personal care.
What is assisted living?
Assisted living facilities provide long-term care for older adults. Assisted living residents are generally active, but may need support with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and walking). These facilities strive to increase independence for residents so that they can live meaningful lives with dignity and respect. Assisted living facilities are an appealing option for seniors who might not require continual health care, but do need some personal care assistance on a regular basis.
Each assisted living community is different, offering different services and/or specializations. Contact CareSift with questions about assisted living, and whether it is the right fit for your situation.
