Adult Day Care
Daytime programs that provide care, companionship and stimulation for older adults in a safe setting, while giving family caregivers time to work or rest.
What is adult day care?
Adult day care facilities provide care and companionship for older adults who need assistance or supervision during the day. These programs provide a safe and secure environment for seniors, and offer relief to family members and caregivers, allowing them to go to work, attend to personal needs, or rest. In addition, these programs provide an opportunity for older adults to get out of their house to receive both social and mental stimulation, and the continuing care they require. These programs are designed to help seniors remain in their homes.
Each adult day care facility is different, offering different services and/or specializations. Contact CareSift with questions about adult day care, and whether it is the right fit for your situation.
