Why is CareSift beneficial to the community?
CareSift is a purpose-built and purpose-driven organization. CareSift was created due to the need we found in the community. While working in health care, we found that seniors and those in need of care were facing many barriers and struggling to make informed decisions when researching long-term care options in Hawaii.
CareSift was created to help fill this gap, supporting seniors, their families, and those in need of care. Our vision is a planet where our most vulnerable seniors are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
Does CareSift recommend specific communities?
CareSift does not recommend any specific care provider, facility, or community. CareSift is here to support and advocate for you. We are not affiliated with any of the care providers, facilities, or communities. We are here to help you maximize your knowledge and understanding of the various licensed care providers so that you can make sound, informed decisions for your loved ones to help improve their quality of life.
Can I use a care provider that I select?
Yes. You are in control when you work with CareSift. We are here to help educate you about the various licensed care providers; however, we cannot make any decision for you or your loved ones. We are here to help support you through the process and help when problems arise. We want you to make informed decisions on whether or not your loved one needs care, and which care provider is the right fit for your loved one's needs.
What is a Senior Advocate?
A Senior Advocate is a compassionate individual trained by CareSift who chooses to help seniors and those in need of care.
